Dental Implants in Ahmedabad

A missing tooth affects far more than your smile — chewing, speech and even the neighbouring teeth suffer. An implant replaces the root itself, giving you a fixed tooth that looks, feels and works like your own.

The essentials

What are dental implants?

A dental implant is a small medical-grade titanium post placed into the jawbone, where it acts as an artificial tooth root. Over a few months the bone bonds with it — a process called osseointegration — creating a foundation as stable as a natural root. A custom crown is then fixed on top, matched to your surrounding teeth.

Unlike a removable denture, an implant doesn't move, doesn't need to be taken out at night, and doesn't require grinding down healthy neighbouring teeth the way a bridge can. With good hygiene it's the closest thing modern dentistry has to growing a new tooth.

Your options

What an implant can replace

  • Single tooth

One implant, one crown — the neighbouring teeth stay untouched. The gold standard for a single missing tooth.

  • Multiple teeth

Two or more implants can carry an implant-supported bridge, replacing several teeth without a removable appliance.

  • Full arch

A full set of upper or lower teeth anchored on a small number of strategically placed implants — fixed, not floating.

How it works

Your visit, step by step

No surprises — here's exactly how the treatment unfolds.

  1. Assessment & 3D planning

X-rays and digital scanning check your bone volume and map nerve positions, so the implant position is planned before anything touches your mouth.

  2. Implant placement

The titanium post is placed under local anesthesia in a single, carefully controlled sitting. Most patients are surprised how uneventful it feels.

  3. Healing & integration

Over roughly 3–6 months the bone fuses with the implant. You'll have a temporary solution meanwhile — no gaps at your big meetings.

  4. Crown placement

A custom crown, colour-matched to your natural teeth, is fixed onto the implant. Bite is checked and refined until it feels invisible.

Care guide

Before and after your appointment

Follow these and your treatment will go smoother — and heal faster.

Before — preparing well

  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing on the day of surgery
  • Take any antibiotics prescribed beforehand exactly as directed
  • Fast for 4–12 hours before the procedure if instructed
  • Share your full medical history and current medications
  • Ask every question you have — you should walk in with zero doubts

After — healing well

  • Rest for 24–48 hours and avoid strenuous activity
  • Bite gently on gauze to manage any bleeding
  • Don't spit or rinse for the first 24 hours
  • Use ice packs for swelling and take prescribed pain medication
  • Rinse gently with warm salt water after the first 24 hours
  • Avoid brushing directly on the implant site for about a week
  • Eat soft foods, stay hydrated — and no straws or hard foods

Why here

Why patients choose us for dental implants

  • 3D digitally planned placement — position, angle and depth decided before surgery, not during

  • One doctor, start to finish: Dr. Vernica places and restores your implant herself

  • Round-the-clock post-operative support on WhatsApp for every surgical patient

Implant success is decided in the planning. When the position is digitally mapped before surgery, placement becomes calm, quick and predictable — and that's exactly how patients describe it afterwards.
